APO Camarines Sur Collegiate Summit

Nestled in the beauty of Balogo in Pasacao, Camarines Sur, Orlina’s Resort served as the perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable experience: the APO Camarines Sur Collegiate Summit. For us in Mu Eta Chapter, this was more than just a gathering; it was a chance to bond, make memories, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood that define Alpha Phi Omega.

We arrived at the resort on February 5, 2023, brimming with excitement and eager to begin our weekend. The day was packed with activities designed to foster teamwork, encourage leadership, and bring us closer together as brothers and sisters.

Right from the start, the energy was palpable as we dove into a series of fun and challenging team-building exercises. From rope courses to obstacle courses, each activity pushed us to work together, support one another, and overcome obstacles as a united team. Along the way, we found ourselves laughing, cheering, and forming connections that ran deeper than we ever expected. It was truly inspiring to witness the resilience and determination of our brothers and sisters in the face of adversity.

But the summit wasn’t all about physical challenges. We also had the chance to attend workshops and discussions led by knowledgeable facilitators, where we delved into topics like leadership principles, effective communication strategies, and personal growth. These sessions gave us valuable insights that would shape our journey as leaders both within our chapter and beyond.

Throughout the day, we took breaks from the intense activities to enjoy some well-deserved downtime. We played games, shared stories, and simply spent time together, strengthening the bonds of friendship that make our chapter so special. There were moments of friendly competition, heartfelt conversations, and plenty of laughter that will be remembered fondly for years to come.

As the sun began to set on our unforgettable day at Orlina’s Resort, we gathered around a cozy bonfire, singing songs, sharing stories, and reflecting on the experiences that had brought us together. In that moment, surrounded by the warmth of friendship and the glow of the fire, we felt a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to be part of something greater than ourselves.

As we said our goodbyes and made plans to return to our daily lives, we carried with us the memories of an incredible weekend filled with adventure, learning, and most of all, love. It was a reminder of the power of community, the strength of unity, and the beauty of brotherhood. And as we continue on our journey with Mu Eta Chapter, we do so with hearts full of gratitude, knowing that together, we can achieve anything.
